I got banned from AW this bar earlier this year over the following story:
As a resident I used to visit AW once or twice a week to have a beer and a chat with the female mamasan who I knew from her days working as a Mama in Pat Pong. ÝOccasionally I would barfine a BG ST and a good time was had by all. ÝThen they brought in the LB's as Mamasans who to my mind treated the customers with overt contempt and distain with the exception of the Japanese. ÝOne evening in AW sitting down having a beer and enjoying the scenery I was ordered by a LB mamasan to move from my comfortable table seat to a precarious seat with no view of the stage in order to accommodate a couple of Japanese tourists, I felt a little put out but just moved without a fuss. ÝAfter I had moved the place emptied out a bit and I was ordered to move again because somehow I was in the way now, I politely declined to move indicating that I would be finishing my beer in 2 minutes and vacating the premises, however my challenge to the almighty LB mama/papasan creature's authority was met with a loud and vitriolic berating after which it demanded I pay up and leave immediately. ÝAfter refusing to pay until I had finished my beer the man/lady/beast thing took my bill and ordered me to leave immediately, no payment required.
A few months later I returned to AW to see if the situation had improved any, it had not. ÝAfter specifically ordering a cold beer in Thai the bartendee served up a bottle that could only be described as disgustingly tepid and unfit for any self-respecting beer drinkerís consumption. ÝI asked for it to be changed and reminded the girl I had specifically asked for a cold beer, she took the beer away and then all hell broke loose. ÝFirst a bargirl came up and aggressively told me the beer was cold and then started insulting me in Thai then returning with a half drunk bottle of beer saying that I'd drunk most of it already. ÝBy this time the gender challenged LB mama/papasan thing was on the scene with the bartendee and other staff crowding around putting their oar in and trying to intimidate me. ÝEverybody started talking and shouting at me at once and it wasn't until my friendly (real) mamasan made an appearance and stuck up for me that the waitress admitted I had ordered a cold beer and had only taken a small sip out of the bottle. ÝAlas, it was to no avail the lady/she/he/mama/papasan object had lost face and I was once again duly order out with instruction never to darken their door again.
What on earth is going on at this bar, it used to great and at one time I would have been confident recommending to people, now I just rush past on my way to spend my hard earned at bars who appreciate my business.

well had some pretty nasty incidents with one of the he/she/its in there as well! still i keep coming there as some of the girls are really gems and the owner mat is a very nice chap! unfortunately not the katoys in there!

Have now been there 3 or 4 times in the past 6 weeks, like others have said, lots of real cuties. Indifferent attitudes from the Tg and Mamas, one night great next rude as hell. One actually lied to (first time LOL)me  and then got shitty when I politely pointed out her mistake! Ma pen rei. At the moment there are lots of better places!

In my first, recent, visit to BKK I went to AngelWitch. It was a great time, there and later on my hotel. However I was amused to be received by a LB.
He/She went into great length explaning me that she was a model and was studying in some university. After some yes/no answer and polite disencouragement she asked me if I wanted to be alone which I promtly accepted so I could
exchange glances and smiles with some nice cuties over there.
I found that a bit strange. I hope I didn't make her to lose face as I intend to come there again.
Is this usual?
