I sat at Baccara 4 out of 10 nights in BKK, but never BFed. The place is by far my most favorite GoGo bar: Low hustle, great lay-out and comfortable with planty of cute girls to look at. However, the few I started flirting with gave me a bad attitude, or zero personality.
I was in BKK in early May and after strolling through NEP and Soi Cowboy couple of times, I found the best looking girls at: Rainbow 3 (NEP), Mandarin (NEP) and Baccara (Soi Cowboy.

Just want to put a good word in for Baccara which I think is rapidly becoming the best go-go on SC. New Year's Eve was a riot, with tequilas flying, excited girls squealing over their presents and plenty of free food. 1,000 baht BF though!
The Mamasans are good fun (especially if you buy them drinks) and most of the girls are friendly even if you don't want to BF them. The upstairs girls regularly display all and perform great "shows" using the glass floor to full effect - special mentions for numbers 22, 19 & 2 ! The downstairs girls can be a mixed bag (though I'm biased as I'm currently "seeing" one of them and she gives me the inside gossip!) and the hostesses tend to stick to the Japanese.
The only bad thing, in my view, is the high number of Japanese, spending too much cash and spoiling things for everyone else, but this isn't unique to Baccara.
All in all a well run bar that should be a must-visit on any trip to Cowboy.

Very mixed feelings here. The upstairs girls have always been very much to my liking. I've never ever visited when there hasn't been at least two that I would rate very highly. The glass floor makes things all the better. The problem is often their attitudes. Last trip I ran up a four drink tab for one cutie after which she informs me that she cannot go with me short or long time. I'd never want to take a girl that felt uncomfortable with me but this lass had played the game right up to the wire. As I walked out in disgust she made a bee-line for a jap guy who had been sat there for an hour before. I'm sure his rates were better. Again no problem but please don't lead me into false expectation and a bar bill - make your excuses early.
I've a very mai pen lai approach to the bars but Baccara is the only place where this has happened. Shame cause the grils sure are cute.

I agree with the previous post; I went to BKK for the first time and ended up only on SC (didn't like NEP) and the bars I went to most often were Baccara and Long Gun; Girls at Bacc were hot but bad attitude (generally) I felt they were looking for Japanese customers more than anything, and there were many Japanese there, which is fine, I Bfined a roadbait girl LT and she delivered but her BF was calling every hour on the hour, next time I will be smarter; the glass floor is great though

Always seem to suffer from neck strain after visiting this bar. Took a girl at closing last night: 2000 for ST, she asked for 4K LT, I offered 3 and she agreed, but wanted to leave at 6AM! Hey, I'm not getting up then, so short time it is. Nice girl, but not sure she was worth it.
Earlier in the evening, I took girl from Rainbow 2 for 2,500, one of the stars, and she was very firm on this price. WTF? After living in Pattaya for a year, this is sticker shock.

Maybe so, but I really like the girls upstairs and, if I liked the music, I think it would be my favorite go-go bar in town.
I asked one of the dancers about her preferences (Jap or Frang) recently, and her answer was quite diplomatic (or pragmatic). "Anyone like me, I like him."

The attitude of the girls really sucks. They use to (Suck that is), but that is before the wall came down on the VIP room. I was there a few weeks ago. The tab for our group exceed 25K THB and one of our drunk brethen was handing out 1K THB bills as tips to the dancers. (He thought they were hundreds), but even that barely coaxed a smile out of these girls. Geez!
Good set-up and decent dance music the girls just need an attitude adjustment.
