Holiday difference.
I just finished a little tour in Bangkok and found the Biergarten way different. I used to be able to practically sit alone there from 10AM to 2PM with nothing but oldtimer gals desperate to pick up a quick short time before the real girls showed up.
This trip was different. First of all, I found a quite happening group of good looking ladies showing up at 10AM. Either this was the holidays or these ladies are figuring there is quick money to be made at Biergarten from showing up early and nabbing the early rising farang. As before--by 5-7PM there are 3-5 women for every man and the competition is difficult. Anyways, I never saw so many nice babes so early at the Biergarten. I will definitely compare this to later in the year when I return in May.
Also--met this chick--Lin, I think was her name--at Biergarten. She has fake boobs, sits and drinks red wine, real short hair, loop earings, good english and a chinese look. She was really an interesting gal. I never short timed her before because she struck me a premium player (2000-3000 short time). But she gave me a good rate and a hell of a time. She really knew how to perform and did all sorts of talking I have never heard from a bar lady. Wow. I will definitely repeat this woman if I see her again.

So, was anyone caught up in the piss test yesterday (Sunday, January 23rd) ?
A girl that works there told me the police came in at 2pm and locked it down, did the "you pee before you flee" routine.
Wasn't there myself - any truth to what she said?

I was there mid-afternoon (can't remember when exactly, but I got home by 3) and saw no sign of it, and none of the barstaff gave any indication of anything out of the ordinary.
