Sitting in the newest bar in Nana and thought I'd give you my on the spot impressions.
Location. Go up the escalators on the right as you walk into Nana and immediately turn right and right again.
Format. Two floors, upstairs pool tables, down stairs long bar with plenty of room, and balcony overlooking the plaza. Wide screen plaza TV showing sports channels (yawn, why can't we have VDO'S of something more inspiring for the night ahead?)
Girls. Not too many at this stage but quality above average and good to go.
I like this place it's got a good atmosphere the owners are a couple of US guys with attention to detail and customer service.
Beers 75 baht so a good place to kick off a night or bf 600 baht if you find something to your liking.
The owners Nick & Michael are planning US style big burgers and bar food menu soon.
Disclaimer. I have no interest in this bar, I'm just happy to recommend a bar which is laid back, friendly and well run.

Second the motion.
The Big Mango is a right classy place, at least as that term can be applied in Nana Plaza, and the two owners are good guys with the right approach to running it. It's the best place I know in town to grab a drink, light up, and relax. Close enough to the action to know it's there and far enough way to leave you with a little perspective and peace (that's p-e-a-c-e, not p-i-e-c-e).
Two thumbs up.

I agree with the previous posts. I had a bite to eat (nice food) and a drink at the Big Mango in Nana entertainment Plaza early last night. One of the owners, Michael, came and sat with me to have a chat. Nice guy. I recommend the place for a chill-out - especially the balcony, where you can watch all the craziness below.
I didn't realize there were two floors until I read about it just now, or I would have gone up for a game of pool.

I visited once at THe Big mango...
Their toilet is upstair... And is Unisex Toilet....
The Kitchen for chef to cook nice Dishes is beside the staircase up the 2nd floor...
Got a few girls that a small size and quite young..
They depend on mood for taking customers...
If they bad mood, bad services..
So u won't wan tis to happen rite?
1 of the owner is wif spec. another is bald headed....
Have a chat wif them.. they r qutie a nice person
Meet wif another farang that owns back to school Bar at nana plaza.. he having dinner there...

Last post 15th Jan 2006. Surely, some of the bros must have visited Big Mango as of now.
600B is a reasonable bar fine compared to my favorite in Soi 33 at 1560 B.
Some of the ladies look cool in their website.
Any updates on the bar, girls their attitude?

Have been in this bar quite a few times. Good bar and the owners are pretty good the pair usually do alternative nights. They are quite happy to listen to any suggestions for improvements if you have any.
They also offer free Wi Fi if you want to go in there with your laptop they do have some cuties in there but dont expect them to be pushy if you want them you actually have to make it known.. Idea is if you just want a drink before going round Nana you aint pushed.
Burgers are great as is the other food. Good pool tables upstairs.
I also do not have any interest in this bar just to let you know.

Well I've been in contact with the owners recently and have planned yet another "get together" session...Cutter style. This one will take place the night following the RT meeting at the Toxic on the 10th. So, again I extend my invitation to all those who are available and curious to come join the drunken depravity, (along with a pretty good cheeseburger I hear), to The Big Mango Bar on the 11th of November!
