Info I'm getting is that the bars are closed on Monday, not Sunday. At least that is what I have been told about GLOW.
Can someone who is in BKK clarify if the closing is Sunday the 12th or Monday the 13th?

If you are desperate for a drink try the Huntsman bar in the basement of the Landmark hotel, they never seem to close on religious days. Bloody expensive though.

Might be a good day to hop on over to Tulips then, the Tulip gals confirmed [today] that they are open for business as usual on Monday.
Alcohol may be a no-no but rooting seems to be allowed.

6 years ago when I came t thailand and stayed in Phuket all this buddhist hollidays was a big no no everything was closed. Now its looks more and more like its 50 50 more no one cares any more.
