The new Big Mango Bar located in the subsoi next to Jools on Soi 4 has been open now for a few months and is repositioned as a freelancer bar/good food/good sports tv/free wifi/free internet bar.
I am wondering how the freelancer ladies are ?
Anyone take one out for a ride yet ?
Are they better/same/nevermind than FLs at Bier Garten Soi 7 ??
What do they charge for ST ?

I was in BKK last month and walked by the bar but didn't see more than three or four girls in the evening so I didn't bother going in.

I (and other members) have walked in the soi (talking about a 'good' location)... and never saw more than 6 people in it (even on Fridays and Saturdays).
No competition for the old hand hangouts like Beer Garden and Thermae.
Probably the same situation as the Beer Garden in Pattaya...not really a success (from the 'freelancer' prospective).

The place is about 1/10 th the size of BG7, so volume would not be a fair comparison IMO. However quality and service of the FLs would be of interest to many I would think and that was my question........
How is the quality & service of the FLs there ?
We all know Tulip and Eden are in their own league among TTMs. FL bars might have different performance too. No ?

you will see no freelancers in there, haha. it was a good concept, but the problem is, they did not create a space that any Thai BG would want to spend more than 3 minutes in...I mean, c'mon, exposed brick walls? maybe for a yuppie bar in Brooklyn, but not Thailand. good concept, very poorly executed. finish construction, then try to find girls to fill the place!

Have any bro's actually been to this place and enjoyed it ?
I tried it with 3 fellow expats a month or so ago, we arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday, it was dead, I mean dead, no punters, 3 older girls behind the bar. Its a very small, dingy looking place, I would definitely not eat anything prepared in there, it just didn't look that clean, about as clean as ordering a meal in SOL !!
Yes, the beer is cheap, very cheap, and the food appears cheap, there is an old looking pool table in the back.
Its down a dead end soi off of soi 4 with several massage places inside.
It was me who recommended this place to my mates, its all over the web, gets rave reviews from Stickman and what not, but honestly, it was a real let down, not what it was hyped up to be at all and not worth the short walk it required.
JMHO of course, but just wondered what others though, as the hype is pretty damn good, so either there's a good marketing campaign going on, or I went at the wrong time/day/month ?

As you probably know Meaty, it was located in Nana Plaza but moved to the current location.
I have been waiting for a review such as yours, I guess it gets good advertising.
