Asoke Place next to Cowboy on soi 21. Can't remember the price cos I'm usually too pissed, but probably around 300 baht. Convenient to Cowboy, clean.
The hotel directly above Thermae is also convenient but pricey at around 500 baht. But you save on taxis if you pull a bird at the bar.
Hotel 27 (I think) on soi 22 is cheap and nasty around 180 baht when I was there last. Nicknamed 'cockroach' cos one crawled ascross my hand as I opened the door after doing the business.

Kenney boy, my friend, isn't that Soi 23 at the eastern end of SC ?!? Is it l/h or r/h when exit SC eastbound and how many meters ? Tried to look at that place sometime ago and didn't find it...

Exit onto Soi Asoke, not soi 23, with your back to soi cowboy and facing Asoke road walk right (10 metres max), go past a phone box and look for the stairs leading up, walk up the stairs and you're there.

Turn right after Country Road Bar (soi 21 end) walk a few metres, up the stairs and bingo, there you are, Asoke Place.
