Well, I have been proven correct ! I have always suspected that there are gigolos in Bangkok catering to rich frustrated sex-starved Thai women but nobody could confirm their existence to me.

"Black male prostitutes are in demand in Thailand where their favours have become sought after by high-society women, according to reports yesterday.
Over 100 black gigolos from Africa are now catering to Thailand's female elite who prefer them because they are "fiercer", more "thrilling" in bed and "well built " [ BIG LONG DICKS from 10" to 16"], The Nation newspaper cited a Thai sociology professor as saying.
Nithet Tinnakul, a lecturer at Bangkok's prestigious Chulalongkorn University who conducted a survey on male prostitution in Thailand,also said escort services had begun recruiting men from Africa and Jamaica to meet growing demand, the Englisg-language daily reported.
It said some Thai women were paying upwards of 10,000B per night for the services, which fly in the face of conservative Thai traditions.
The niche market, Nithet said, was part of a broader expansion of male prostitution, which until recently had largely focussed on a gay clientele but has become increasingly popular with women, particularly Japanese female tourists.
Nithet's survey found that the number of male prostituites in Thailand has tripled in the past two years to more than 30,000, the newspaper said.
Factors contributing to the dramatic rise include the lingering effects of the Asian economic crisis and a new attitude among women that they should "get even" with philandering husbands, the newspaper cited Nithet as saying.
Thailand's male prostitures were aged 12 to 35, and included university gradutes,office workers,students and street children, Nithet said."
So, there you have it. There are about 30,000 male prostitutes in Thailand, including gigolos. Our 'butterfly' brothers would now know what it is like if their wives/girfriends were to 'get even' and sought the services of black male gigolos with big, long dicks. Certainly some to think about. As they said, 'two can play the same game'. The part about female Japanese tourists seeking the services of gigolos is also interesting. The Bangkok Post, though a good paper, prints a lot of things that simply aren't credible and are based on rumor. The more shocking and controversial the better as long as it can't be proven worong.
It's a simple matter of fact that Thais are typically almost completely lacking in critical/analytical thinking skills (this is not opinion but a fact acknowledged by Thai scholars -- not thier fault; the culture and educational system don't engender it) and this is often reflected in the reporting.
If you read back over the years you will discover numerous "shocking new trends" that are reported once and never heard about again. Thierresearch methods involve hearing a story from one tiny sector of society or even one or two people and they claim it as trend.
It's certainly true that Thais don't generally have the negative veiw of people of African descent as they did 10-15 years ago, but to suggest that the average upper middle class Thai matronn is lusting after them (or anyone for that matter) doesn't stand up to reason.
Pinga's research sounds a lot more accurate to me, and DL is right to be skeptical for the reasons he stated and others.

on the other side of the spectrum, tg's that i have been with on my first trip always stayed away from black people in their clubs because of bad history they or their friends have had. when asked, they said that they black men liked to f_ck all night (about ten times). then at the end run away or refuse to pay. they take advantage of paying at the end.

This might be a tough post to formulate, I am certainly no racist, but I wanted to add my opinion based on my experience to this topic.
First of all I would like to tell you that I agree with Pinga and Supa. On too many occasions I experienced that most of the time if a black is passing by, TGs make certain remarks in a disrespectful manner or do even hide behind my back. Not only in LOS, but I have experienced this in the Phils, too. These remarks range from "black man break my pussy because he big" to the ones, I do not wish to mention on this forum.
Thai people like sanook a lot and this might be part of their joking games, I do not know. One thing I know is that they all like the white or not so dark skin, male and female. The are raised this way and see this on their soap operas on television every day, who can blame them.
As for the Thai high class ladies mentioned in this forum, I have no experience with them. The 30000 male prostitutes mentioned in the article are in my opinion mostly Thai males serving the gay clientele.

Where else can we have laws (although not formulated in such an explicitly racist wording) that pretty much keep the majority of foreigners from owning anything and holed up in the teaching profession? Or if you want to do something that has a semblance of freedom, you have to jump through hoops like a monkey first.
The great thing about racists here... they'll simply avoid you. The people who aren't (or want your money) will simply love you. And you'll feel really good about it.
