After 10 years I'm tired of hearing about how devastatingly good-looking girls in Thaniya are. I've walked down the street many times and never seen these so called goddesses at all. And I have seen hundreds of girls standing in the streets too. lighter-skinned maybe and certainly some cute ones but 2-3 levels above go-go and dance club chicks? Give me a break!! The preponderance of Japs in Patpong,NEP,and Soi Cowboy also puzzles me. If Thaniya girls are so hot and will have sex with them why in the hell do they need to be in farang areas? something doesn't add up here unless all of the babes are hiding under a couch upstairs and not on the street

I guess, like gogo's, they put the ugly ones outside.
Furthermore, clubs in Thaniya have a 'lounge' style. Not all Japanese (and Thais) like this style and go for the more 'simple' entertainment.

OK, so we are to believe they are all indoors,huh? There must not be any LT here then because I have never seen a Jap escorting a girl any cuter than your average bar girl around during the day. Bernard Trink used to beat this drum over and over in the Bangkok Post. I guess the old adage about something false being repeated over and over again until everyone assumes it is fact applies here.

after 2 years of going to bangkook I must admit the girls standing on thaniya are better looking than the average bar girl...lol. they however are more expensive than the averge bargirl. so most of you guys can forget it.
japanese like whiter pretty girls as opposed to the whites who favor ugly brown bargirls........lol.
wot I no understand is how they make money, I dont see many customers going in....lol

Walking down Thaniya at night I was always fascinated with the evening gowns/lingerie worn by the ladies. Twenties girls in one cluster there, fifteen girls in one cluster over there, it's nice... I enjoyed the sightseeing, but had no urge to spend the extra money on them.

It's the cluster of Japanese sushi & karaoke bars on Silom..aka Thaniya plaza.
I've never been in one of those places before but from what i've seen the girls really are better looking. It's not just the gowns either, they tend to be on the younger and cuter side of things. Bar girls tend come in the rough, haggard, or too used variety but there are a few diamonds in the rough. I think most girls who cater towards the japanese orientated sushi or karaoke bars do it part time or almost on a freelance level. Sex isn't always involved either, these girls primary job are considered hostess work.

Forum members can view here Jina's internet ladies gallery and form their own opinions whether the ladies are better or worse than elsewhere (at least as far as the photos show).
Bearing in mind these photos may be photoshopped a bit but aren't entirely phony.

About on par with the girls servicing the local clientele in Utopia, Long Beach, Amsterdam, etc. Both places do get their share of dogs though, so it's hard to make a total generalization.
