Hi guys!
Even I am interested keenly on this hotel, getting a rate of around 1700-1800 bt per night, I really like the pics there, can someone please confirm if its guest friendly or not?
and how the hotel is overall.?

Haven't been there, but know the place... It's no really a hotel more a Serviced Apartment place (Apart Hotel). Yes, it's brand new, opened in December, so rooms should be nice. It's very close to Sukhumvit (Asoke crossing, so both BTS Skytrain and MRT Subway and 5 min walk to Soi cowboy). The backside has an excellent unhindered view on the lake of Queen Sirikit Convention Center and Thailand Tobacco Monopol Company park. It's just Ratchadapisek  one of BK's biggest and busiest streets which lies between...
Building looks ok from the outside but not spectacular. Not the same class like other Serviced Apartment places in that area like Jasmin or Somerset not to mention those in Thonglor. Nevertheless seems to be good value for many at least for now...
Sorry can't say anything about GF, but given the area and the BK standards I would expect it is. Doesn't have a real lobby anyway, more some kind of occasionally manned hallway

Can someone compare it to the Somerset Lake Point......also on Suk Soi 16? Occasionally manned hallway sounds good. One of my major concerns with regard to the Somerset......

Had a look at both places today. Wanted to summarize my findings in a new thread as I have seen most of the usual suspects in terms of serviced residences now.
Citadines is a cool place. Small lobby if u can call it a lobby with a friendly girl. No problems with girls - guaranteed.
There are two toom sizes, a studio at 30 sq.m. and a 1BR at 36sq.m. Unlike at almost all other places the rooms are layouted very intelligently so they appear larger than they actually are. The furniture is functional and modern. All hardwood floor. Very modern and bright. In the 1BR, the room I had a look at, u have a living room with a small but sufficient working area, a flat screen TV and sofa, a functional bathroom (no window) and a bedroom (basically bed and built in wardrobe). The overall appearance is very friendly and nice. The new Foodland next door has all u need. Walkable distance to Asok (I walked over there from my visit at Emporium Suites before - no big deal either).
Cons: No pool, no fitness (I guess, did not ask) and no balcony.
If I needed a cool hotel for some nights in BKK, this would be it!

Hi all!
Any new updates as to this hotel? Dont want to end up it being a Guest-UNFriendly one!
And how far wud it be from the main road..is it a long walk from the Asok bts? In the pics, it seems quiet near.

don't know if guest friendly or not, but quite a good location
there is a foodland a short walk away with their counter food, take out and of course regular food
Soi Cowboy is perhaps five minutes away.. and the BTS/MRT are close
as it is more of an apt than a hotel, my guess is guest friendly if you don't over do it??
tipping the doorman now and then should go a long way

quick update, Citadines will have another location in SUK soi 23. Right before the intersection that has the Chokchai steak house. I noticed the large sign and construction when taking a motorcycle up the soi.
should be a better location, since its on the side with the MRT. also SUK soi 23 is relatively quiet and traffic free (except for those cutting through to Asoke)
