Now open is the "Chitichic Boutique Suites" (their spelling...) at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 13, connecting to Soi 11.
It is a small but vey nice, cosy and "très chic" hotel with about 20 very modern designed and equiped mid-sized rooms. No real suites actually. They have a gym and a nice little roof pool. Only problem is the price of 2500 THB rack rate which is too much if the nearby bigger and even more fancy La Fenix is available for 1800 already... Let's wait until Citichic finds out about this problem and gives better online or agency rates...
You can compare it with La Fenix or Dream Hotel both in style and location but in shere size and architectural terms is a bit less bold than the others but also a bit more warm and comfy...

Yes is is owned by Majestic Suites. Anand's brother is the owner and its in that price range around the 2300-3000 price bracket. Jugding by other hotels, would imagine it would be difficult to get many customers.

The room photos appear to show room layouts that are very similar but perhaps better than Le Fenix.
If that roof top pool is open air, that would be reason for me to choose this one over Le Fenix which has a tiny indoor pool.

The pool is open air and small but nice. The whole thing is a little smaller and less stylish than Le Fenix but therefore a little more cozy... (imho) With no kitchenette at all it's not much of a suite though but just a nice hotel room...
GF factor? It has opened on Sep 1st, no experiences yet. But if it belongs to Majestic Group/Family a good GFness can be expected.

Yea, and I have an Accor Advantage Plus card so rates are down between 1450-1300 baht at Le Fenix. No contest for me in this area - no way ChitChic is worth over a 1000 baht more.

GF 100%, confirmed by the GM.
Went to inspect the place couple of days ago when I decided to give a look to this new CitiChic and La Fenix.
In my opinion of travel agent, there are more weaknesses then strenght in both hotels....too much of "hip/fashion" but with lack of a real personality...you could swap their rooms and not feel any difference...
Also, common spaces are not really useful and well organized [La Fenix must have the shortest ceiling I've ever see in Thailand, while CitiChic has the smallest lobby cum restaurant you can imagine]
If I had to chose a winner, then it would be La Fenix, for rates and bigger size.
