wheels up on Thursday and me and mrs atl spend the weekend in Manhatten and then fly out sunday to bkk..
we get in at like 11:30pm so after bag check we wont be out until like 1am......
so most of you lucky guys can grab a taxi and be hitting a hottie in an hour after a check in and a quick shower...
we are being picked up by the in-laws and I desperatly dont want to make the drive to Nakon Sawan (4 hours)...in a Toyota truck bed after getting off a 19 hour flight.
I told mrs atl....I will get 2 hotel rooms.... 1 for us, and 1 for her mom and dad...just so we can sleep before driving up...
any suggestions for a hotel...I looked on line but of course only the $175 a night rooms showed up.
If any guys have a recommendations not far from Suvarnabhumi in the $40 to $60 a night rate I would appreciate it...basically we will be checking in at 1am and out after breakfast so we dont need much.

Hmmm, interesting. I checked out the direct sites as they always give more info than reservation sites and the site for Queens Garden Resort sounds nice, they have a specialized thai massage suite 
They also go on to list discos and bars in the area all of which feature pics of pretty gals, and are listed like this;
Ban Suksamen - sexy ladies
The Virgin - pretty ladies
The Kwien Bar - pretty ladies
Seang jan - pretty ladies
All located in Kin Kaew
Sounds like action to me. Anyone tried any of these, or can post any info on the massage at the hotel itself ?
Convenient Resort also offers Oil Body Massage in the comfort of your own room 24hrs
Anyone tried this ? do you need to have a room or do they have a FB like DC Hotel ?
Sounds like a jaunt is in order, any prior heads up is always welcome.

For info, Queens Garden Resort have confirmed massage services are only available to guests of the hotel, so no DC Hotel (now called Bay View) type arrangement.

Hotel rooms are OK. It is at the end of the runway, planes overhead. Loud. If you are a light sleeper, don't stay here.
As for the nightlife, there might be some if you wander around, but they will be all Thai customers. As in all places like this, if there are other Thai customers about, you will likely not get the full attention of the girls working there. 
Choose Queens Garden to sleep between flights, if you do not have to go back to the airport, it makes no sense to stay there.

I just used the Convenient Hotel near the airport a few nights ago. I got there around 1AM, checked in and went to the 7-11 down the road for some quick Som Tam and beer.
The hotel was clean, simple and the people were nice, they give a free ride back to the airport, it's close as well, 5 to 10 minutes. No action though, but a good place to crash. I'd go back. I paid around 1100 baht

IMHO Avana is the closest to the airport
funny, they charge a lot more now that the new airport is finished, than they did back in 2005
Avana is also very close to 13 Coins hotel & restaurant. The restaurant is open 24/7
I used to take chicks there for a nightcap
