Hi,
As there wasn't any thread about details on this hotel, I have created so.
Citadines Sukhumvit 23,

Heard that its good, but I just saw on google maps, that its almost 1km from the main road.
Wouldn't that become too long a walk?
Want to know if we get the Motorbike Taxis outside this hotel, as we get outside President Park on Soi24.
Also, would it be friendly even if I got more than one girl coming up with me?

It's a rather short walk to Sukh. or Asoke BTF and MRT... and you can shortcut thorugh Soi Cowboy which - depending on the time of the day - might turn out as a hefty detour...

Thanks to both of you for your replies.
I had stayed in Citadines 16 in 2007 and the one thing I totally hated about it was the WASHBASIN being outside the bathroom, i.e in the living area.
I just happened to check the floorplan of Citadines 23 on their site now, and it has the same thing!
So have finally booked parkplaza.

All Citadine have a very same layout.
I didn't mind the washbasin outside the 'bath' at all, but to each..
Actually I always liked the highly functional but nice and modern layout and style of Citadine studios...

Hey Mick,
I too love the contemprory & highly functional designs of Citadines, but I think me not liking the Basin being outside in the living must be because of difference in opinions in hygene, for me, inside is much hygenic...
other than that, its a great place!

Plan to book Soi 23 for a month while wife goes to Banking School on Soi 33/1. Best deal I could find. We only need Mon-Thur night as rest of time back home to run our business.
Any better ideas? We need Internet, good TV selection, Microwave and so on.

I stayed at the Soi 23 citadines for 2 nights in May. I booked through Tim's site and paid 1700B per night. it is just a bit more than 5 minutes walk past Soi Cowboy.
One nice thing was coming from the subway after meetings in the afternoon,SC has lots of food sales going on at 5-6PM so I could get a quick cheap dinner with plenty of variety.
I liked the room and so did the girls I brought back there. I might consider to use this place instead of the Grottino from now on.

As one that has been staying at the Grotino for a 'very' long time I found your comment interesting.
What would you say are the reasons that you would make Citadines 23 the place to stay vs Swiss Grotino?
