Yes, Chaophraya Park Hotel is girl friendly. You will notice that so many chinese men are bringing girls there. Not so many farangs there, mostly asian. But nice place, although it's far from anything.

I tried calling an escort company in Bangkok for a girl. But the weird thing is that the girl called my room and ask me to pick her up from the lobby. Is that the usual practice? Why can't the girl just come up to the room?

I dont know about that particular hotel. But that is the normal practicve with ESCORTS almost everywhere. WHere the Hotel will get the idea that the guest is meeting you first time. Happened to me couple of time....but then...never in thailand.

I could really use sp, e good advice...I'm planning a trip the end of Jan. I'v eonly been there once before and stayed at the omni Tower apartments...nice but I thought it was a bit pricey ($60 us) and too much room for my needs. I'm looking for something relatively close to the action in Nana...clean, king or queen bed, air conditioning and a clean bathroom...must be girl friendly. Any with some special features like sex swings would be nice but I suspect those are most found in ST hotels...any recommendations? Thanks

I don't have much experience about calling in escort girls. Only once and the girl went upstairs but that was a cheap cheap room. I can't help about that one.

Chaophraya Park Hotel is very far from Nana Station, as it is nearby the junction between Rachadaphisek and LadPrao.
If you are looking for hotel near Nana, I would recommend Majestic Suites (i have never been there but have read a lot of threads about it. Seems that rooms there are a bit small). If you are looking for ST-looking hotel, you should try JB Hotel in Sukhumvit 3 (near Penthouse hotel). They have the classical ST rooms but usual rooms too at 600B. / night I think.It's just good enough.

Now that the subway has open, it seems that Chaophya park could be a good value hotel (i have seen it at 27usd for 4*) and I short ride to Sukhumvit station.
Anyone had stayed there recently and who could confirm that it is still girlfriendly ?
