Hey Bro's - My January trip getting closer and closer. I've reserved at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit because it came well recommended on this forum and it's a 5-star that is cool about visitors. From the posts I gathered that there's a side entrance that one can walk into with one's TG, and the only person you'll encounter is the elevator operator. Does this mean that the TG doesn't leave her ID downstairs as is the case in other places?
One more general question: How do I get from this hotel to Cowboy? To Nana?

Not sure what their policy is towards TG's as I have never stayed there. However, I was there a couple of weeks back and went to Rivas on a Friday night. Cover charge was steep - 650Bt per person and the place was half empty - very subdued atmosphere. I noticed one or two freelancers knocking about but they were not stunners. Supposedly the band was one of the better ones doing the hotel circuit (Highlites, I think they are called). For me, everything was just dull.
I am not sure if the price was because of the band or whether they wanted to discourage freelancers.
p.s. Nana - turn left out the door & walk 300m to 1st major set of traffic lights. turn left
Cowboy - turn right out of the door and walk 300m to first major set of traffic lights & then diagonally opposite.

DSBones, though I do not know the exact distance in meters, I am pretty sure that the distances left and right to both Nana and Cowboy are not similar. The Sheraton is much closer to Cowboy that it is to Nana. My guess is by a factor of 1 to 3.

I've stayed at the Sheraton Grande a number of times and have never had a problem getting TGs in. Use the street level entrance near Rivas and walk in with them. Make sure you check out the pool. One of the wonders of Asia.

What is the distance from Nana to soi Cowboy? I am not totally clued up but I would say 1/2 a mile, with SGS nearer to Cowboy.

The Sheraton does not take the girls id. They also do not care which door you use as long as you are not getting it on in the lobby. I have often cabbed it in to the main door with a tg or 2 and never had anyone even bat an eye. However, the lower door near Rivas is less of a walk of shame, if you care what the familly types think. No cover at Rivas if you are staying in the hotel, but EVERYTHING is overly expensive. Cowboy is a 5 minute walk and NANA is about 15-20, depending on what you see on the way. If your room is on the Sukhumvit side, you can see Cowboy.
Love the pool. Have not brought a tg to the pool yet but I don't think there would be a problem as long as you both leave your clothes on.

I have gotten plenty of time at the Sheraton lately to answer your questions.
If the girls are walking in with you they will NEVER ask the girl for her ID. They might ask the girl for her ID if she tries to come up to your room solo. Security will call you first to see if you want her to come up (Good procedure for keeping psychos away). If she is a girl that you repeatedly see, and want to come up to your room without any hassles to her, just tell security never to take her ID, and they will oblige.
Agree on Rivas being dull. Same not so hot FL's there every time I drop in there for a drink to start the night off. A constant flow of dumb suit guys for them to feed off of.
Nothing kinky about the pool there, just a nice tropical place to relax.

Hmmm. I would guess less than a mile. But if you don't like walking, the Sheraton is right next to the Asoke BTS Stop, which is just one stop away from the Nana BTS stop.
