Just stayed at this hotel/apartment for the last 2 weeks.
Got ripped on rate because I only had 1 day to find room before flying in for unexpected trip. 2500 baht all inclusive.
Rooms are very clean and maid service is good. My regular TG stayed with me and was registered. She backhanded the maid to keep an eye on comings and goings to my room while she was out...........be warned!!
Food is rubbish.
No street food, but Foodland is handy.
Handy to Soi Cowboy and MTS.
I am unsure about the GF status of this place. My TG was quizzed a few times even though I was with her and she was registered. Previous post said GF no doubt, I am not so sure.
Seems like a business clientelle, never saw another punter.
Security guy seems useful and TG rated his local knowledge, barred me from talking to him. LOL.
Ok place to stay I feel, room highly spec'd for rate.
I prefer Soi 19.

Not handy to the hotel, have to go to Soi 18 or on Suk under BTS.
I am not talking about the odd fruit cart passing by.
Walk down the lane from The Key or Swiss Grottino, 75 metres and you have a dozen options.
Hey....I'm lazy! Shoot me.
TG agrees with me, she is the expert.
Any idea what happened to O'Briens Cafe opposite Majestic Suites?

Maybe it depends on what time of day (and also which day). There are loads of street stalls on 16, some quite good: and if you cut through to Ratchapisedik and walk away from asok bts, there is a big market/food market on your left (it used to be exclusively food, but now sells all sorts of rubbish, with food on the streets in front and right at the back if you dive through the clothes and stuff). Far more here than on 18, though, admittedly, mainly at thai eating times.

correct... for breaky and lunch lotsa good stalls on Soi 16 during the week... all vanished after ??? dunno when...

If you are truly after a bargain,,,try to be the first customer. many Thai's believe a sale ( even at a loss),is a good OMEN,,,,PLEASE use this but do not abuse this.

Hi all,
I have stayed in this hotel in Jan 1st week for 4 nights, with my wife, (no sneaking around this time  ) and this is a nice hotel, but I didnt like the Handwash Basin being outside the bathroom i.e. in the living.
Other than that, the room is nice, but a little small compared to President Park on end of Soi.24 for the price.
Price I paid with daily cleaning was 2190 bt (inc. one bkfast and unlimited broadband internet)
Sure felt friendly, but I didnt notice people taking girls in, or if they were, it was like they were staying for a longer time.
Location sure is good.

Any BTF members used Citadines on Soi 8 at all?
Noticed in the Thai Airways in-flight magazine that they are promoting it and have offers on at present.
Might try it next week over one of my usual haunts, so any updates or info appreciated.
