The pool is nice and so is the fitness room... Good location.
The cheapest for President Park is around THB 2,200.

Latrell: Doc's right, with taxes and shit - 2200. But the President's are worth it. The rooms are huge, and unlike the Ambassador - guest friendly. All the Ascot properties are great. I prefer the Somerset Lake. The Swiss Park's a good deal and the pools nice. How's the gym ? WJ

Yes, the Royal President should be ok for < 2000 baht.
I have seen the gym, looked ok. The pool is great(CG crashed some bottles of glass there some years ago, so watch out!), not much sun, tough. Location is good.
