This is rediculous comparison.
- how old is this hotel?
- distance to BTS/MRT?
- distance to nana/soi cowboy/thermae?
- internet?
just showing the room size and price and then you assume it would be better than paradisco only because it's size and price?
If room size is important, there are plenty of older hotels that are cheap and big.
However, reasonable person wouldn't expect 1500 baht hotel to be perfect. Any 1500 baht hotel usually lacks something, whether it's room size, cleaness, and/or location.

Hello Apollo, you are linking Admiral Suites, correct?
I have stayed there about 6 years ago. The hotel is located very deep inside soi.
If you read reviews from Agoda, you will find that alot of people complain about the distance to Sukhumvit road.
As I mentioned earlier, it's not hard to find an old hotel with bigger room.
For me, the most important factors are
- price (~1200-1600)
- location (lower suk not deep inside soi)
- new (no more than 2 years old)
- free internet
For this reason, I have stayed in Swiss Grattino when it was newly opened (~1200-1700) ; I have stayed in On8 and S Skumvit Suites when they were cheaper. (1270-1530)
I also have stay in Citadines 23. Room is little bigger but any citatines are too deep inside soi for me.
I walk in and out of hotel alot. I became really picky about hotel location after staying Grattino few years ago. Saving a few hundreds baht taxi fare per day.
I listed a few hotels in the earlier post that best fits my condition. (SilQ, Sacha's Uno, On8, S Sukhumvit Suites)
They have similar characteristics but Paradisco is the cheapest these days. S Sukhumvit suites price is almost same if you book through orbitz and use coupon, but I prefer soi 10.
