High speed Internet is available in many Hotels in Bangkok. I stayed Adalphi suites & President solitaire, both places they had internet connection, no problems I had. And both these two are girl friendly too...

I was staying at a hotel called executive residence or something, they had free wireless internet throughout the hotel. I think it is located near soi 47 near a bts station, just a 2 minute walk.
And the rooms were nice too. plus a nice swimming pool and gym. So, if u r a heavy internet user like me I would recommend this hotel as internet is complimentary

the Majestic suites had one of the fastest wifi I've experienced in Thailand....that was about a year ago.. It was free when I was there not sure about now. Weird room keys at the Majestic. Look like small probes...
The Dawin hotel near the corner of sois 6 and 4 also had a consistent, fast connection, free too.
One of the slowest connections I've experienced was at the Grand President, really suked when I stayed there a couple times. Pretty worn looking rooms too.
The Dynasty Grand on soi 6 has decent wifi in the lobby but in the rooms it's the old cable plug in and it's slow. in fact that hotel used to be a good value but it's starting to get the haggard, worn out look, like a bar girl who's been in the biz too long.
