owing to the locale, and rate, not forgetting the 500 odd TG's who nightly pack into the disco, the Nana is generally fully booked - they will give you a 10-15% discount on the 1000bt. a night rate if you stay a month, I have some buddies who love the place for its value and sleaze, other pal's wouldn't be seen dead in there ... up to you, if your here for alot of TG's, and Short time / good time, probably suit you, if you have a modicum of dignity, dont want to daily run the gauntlet of decrepit farangs sitting in the lobby watching every TG come and go .... then perhaps get something a little more upmarket, but certainly in the same area .... e.g. Ambassador,Park,City lodge,Promenade,Stable,Honey, etc are all mid-class, OK, and under 2000 bt.

My last visit to LOS (July) I paid 1070B at the Nana, is it still the same price coming into the busy season? Also does anyone know where to find an apartment for 2 weeks at the end of December beginning of Jan. for a reasonable price, near NANA.

Just booked some some days at the Nana in December. They verified by email and are charging us 1000 Baht plus tax for a standard room for me plus one "guest."

It is my understanding that Nana Hotel have been steadily and slowly getting remodeled. When requesting a room, ask for the higher floor rooms. It is said that those rooms are more likely to have gotten recently cleaned up and remodeled.

Has anyone ever stayed in the Suite @ Nana? If so what did you think of it? Are there better guest friendly hotel suites in the area at near the same price as Nana, maybe even 10 - 20 % higher in price.
It says online that it is B2,100 for the Nana suite but no picture.
There is pics of the standard and the Deluxe, but no Suite. I assume that you won't have to pay a guest fee if you book the suite either. Am I right or wrong?

I stayed at a suite in Nana Hotel during my last trip. I paid Baht 2247 a night and I think it was worth it, not only because I shared it with the machine.
The suites are newer than the other rooms and it was very nice and spacious. If I stay at the suite again, it must again be for such a special occasion, as I think it was quite costy.

Had a not so Sweet Suite at the Nana.. I know this will not be what is usually said but the place is a dump. I will never even walk in the door again....The halls terrable and they let anything work the lobby.....Sorry folks, the place is a shit hole! You have every benefit at the Marriott....no disco but I met a honey at the bar, Upscale babe who offered to allow me to lock her I.D. card in the Safe.....Hey, some people don't like the Nana, I'm oneof them!

If you're gonna stay there, make sure you have what's concidered a large bag or luggage. Coz every thing is on a cash basis if you have one small carry bag/back pack ect... I was really pissed last time over that as i'm a regular customer. The staff calls me by name for cryin out loud...
