I have four nights at the Nana Plaza Hotel. Was their Internet site too good to be true? Will classy ladies even go back with me there? I only saw ONE comment on Nana, it wasn't pleasant! I guess I was attracted to 1) price 2) Angels downstairs and 3) location. Does anyone KNOW their policies on guests....up to 2-3? thanks....also any RECOMMENDATIONS on Samui, SHARE them please, going their alone for 4 days THIS Sunday. Bars/clubs....an ALL SERVICE MASSAGE? thanks again!

hi Guys
Just returned from 9 days in BKK. I stayed at Tai-Pan hotel on Sukhumvit soi 23, just a short walk from soi cowboy.
I took a girl back every night. On two occasions only were they asked to show ID but there was no embarassment at all so no problems.
I had booked a double room at 1600 baht per night with b'fast. Not the cheapest in town but the rooms were good size and clean and service fine

Hi guys,
Juz to let you know that Grand Pacific is definitely girl-friendly, and I do not need to go for a twin bed, or pay extra. For that matter, there were times I took girl back for the night and nobody stop and check the girl !

Just to add, a couple of friends stayed at Windsor Suites, and had no hassles at all bringing their ladies in. Saw both of them bring their girls in. No stops and no checks.

bkkz, thanks for the info. I will be back in Bangkok in a few months and was debating between the Grand President and Windsor Suites. Good to know that they're both girl-friendly.

The best rate for your Hotel you will get through a local travel agent. Find the Hotel you like and then ask a local travel agent .. You will say wow ..
I book all my Hotels in Thailand with "Atlanta Travel"

A Hotel I like is "Novotel Lotus" Sukhumvit Soi 33
You should get this Hotel for less than 2000 Bt ... and yes, they are visitor friendly IF you booked two people .. I always do this .. this way I can invite my lady for breakfast.. and enjoy the jellous look of the waiter every morning ...

Windsor Suite is girl-friendly. However, last time I brought a girl back, thru the main-entrance and was stop. I had to pay an additional 700baht (did not register for additional person) and the girl had her ID held by the security for the night !
Like to suggest that next time you bring a girl back, enter thru the hotel's back entrance at soi18 which will lead you thru the lift.

Must be my friends' luck. Both of them had a girl each, and they walked up to the lift without anyone stopping them. One of my friends even had 2 girls in his room. Now, they both booked a suite room each, wonder if that made a difference.

Windsor Suite Hotel is only friendly if you book an upper priced room (i.e.: double occupancy) and the staff likes you. They have an ***EXCELLENT*** security team there. They are very concerned for the well-being of their clients.
If you book a single and have no reason to bring in another party, you will be stopped, charged "the fare" and the girl carded!! The hotel (The Suites Hotel, not the Windsor single rooms next door) is a 4 star hotel, and I noticed the staff knows everything about what you do.....so yes, that is what you get "single occupancy" in the front door.
That is *my* hotel.....so far!  The prices have gone up for the general population using the On-Line services (i.e.: Travelocity, etc.), I noticed....probably from this message board post!

I forgot to add on my earlier report about Tai-Pan hotel.
I was booking on internet with Sawadee.com
Following the advise from the forums I asked for a twin room to avoid any "extras" later.
The reply came back " to ensure your maximum pleasure we have arranged a king size bed" rather than just twin room.
After checking in, my bags were taken up to the room. As soon as I got to the room the phone rang and it was reception calling. The were very apologetic 'cos they had put me in the wrong room, MY ORDERED KING SIZE BED WAS NEXT DOOR so they moved me to that room.
That's guest friendly
