Very near Pantip plaza, think Pethcburi road soi 20 [ or maybe 22] anyway the RESIDENCE, is a nice place, under 10 mins walk to Ratchadamri sky train, 10 mins in a Aircon Bus 93 or 11 to MBK, 10 mins in a cab to nana district - rooms about 800bt a night, - you can bargain from the opening quote, and they do a good monthly deal of 17,000bt - breakfast included. It is just down the soi 20 yards from the main road, on the left.

I was pretty impressed with one little boutique hotel right next to (before on the soi) Eden Club. The name escapes me right now and their name-card is back in my room. Can another brother help me out?
They are setup as a cigar boutique/ spirits bar on the first floor and told me the bar poors 24/7 went upstirs to check out a room and they were re-done to very nice aesthetics recently. Very tiny rooms with only a meeter to move around the bed and a TV mounted high near to the ceiling for comfy viewing. I'm assuming the place was origianlly conceived as a MP place.
Anyway, the mgr. quoted me 900baht/day but front office girl was more like 800-900baht/day. Nice location, ambiance, room for the price I thoughtt especially at 800/night. very clean and tidy operation all in all.

Where did find that rate. Their website quaotes 1000 baht + Tax and their travel agency Quoted me 850 baht net. ( I thought net meant all taxes and services charges are included in price"
