Queens Park Suk Soi 22 area good hotels but stay away from Regency Park. Try upper Ratchada too for MP's and discos plus good mall; just west down Asoke.

Im going back in March Im thinking of staying at the new Dynasty in BKK then hit the new Dynasty in Pattaya (free transfer service to Pattaya and back) the one in Town not on the hill
has any one been to the new Dynasty in Dowtown Pattaya? whats it like?

It's not too far to walk from Nana to Soi Cowboy, but depending on the weather, you may be a bit hot and sticky when you arrive. You can always take the BTS skytrain for 10 baht.

Harry, not quite sure at what time you mean. But my favourite pastime is walking at night (around 1am) from Soi 22 to Nana (make sure you walk on the right hand side. Enough entertainment to watch....

LOL...Dr Love...indeed there is...used to do thast route a lot about a year ago.
The katoeys that hang around by the bridge opposite the Bank Of Asia were great viewing, hardly a day went past without them being in some sort of arguement of fight as I went past.
One time there was this farang guy just standing there screaming "f_ck off faggots, you are men" at the top of his voice, he was having a complete fit, he was petrified and they hadn't even touched him...it was hysterical, I thought he was going to cry. I even stopped and laughed at him (the katoeys were in stitches).
Haven't walked that way in ages...they still around?
Another time I fell asleep about 3am on the front of the BoA.....I woke up after about 20 minutes...looked to my left and there was a monster huge katoey sitting with me...about 6ft 4 in heels. Luckily to my right was a soi 22 girl I knew well...she'd seen me and was protecting me...the katoey asked for a cigarette and left.
Apparently I found out after I'd fallen asleep talking to the soi 22 girl who luckily hadn't deserted me. She's so faithful, she'd make a great wife. I didn't even remember meeting her.

They were a few weeks ago. I was waiting for a girl and met a guy who was pickpocketed of THB 2000 just 30 seconds ago.
My route: from soi 22 left hand until the robinson walkover (near the girls always waiting for a bus but never seem to take one). Avoids the kratoeys at BOA and Volvo showroom.
Then all the way to Nana at right side until I end up at Nana Hotel parking lot. The best evening no-charge show in bkk....
Until I wake up and see MrsLove walking out of Nana and bursting my bubble...

Novotel Lotus very guest friendly and not too far away. Stayed there recently and was ok and very reasonable if you book it throiugh one of the internet sites.

I agree, the Novotel Lotus is also my preferred hotel in Bangkok. The hotel is very guest friendly and not far away from the skytrain.
