Always, always, always pre-book. I can't tell you how many walk-ups I've seen turned away -- high season or not.
I think a Deluxe room is 1,500 THB, which includes breakfast.
Slowly, the rooms are being "refurbished." Some of the Suites look a lot better than the Deluxe rooms.

The standard is shit, with cumstained walls.
I have had them try to sell me a standard, calling it a deluxe, and have made reservations a month in advance and when I showed up to check in and they looked at me like I was crazy, and with even the Internet reservation confirmation they refused me a room. Other times they'll diddle around for like 5-10minutes watching you squirm, then come up with something.
The Nana is finicky with the desk action. The Great Haam Sup said it the best. You show up, take what they give you and be grateful for it, otherwise, don't expect shit.
Being 'The Great', I must note that TWD has, as usual, hit the railroad spike on its uppermost part...
However, inspect as I might, there is NARY a speck of cum on the walls of my hastily provided, "What you mean 'check in 16 Jan'? You come 1:30AM you charge 15 Jan!! OK, no plomplem, I have loom, but you charge 15 Jan!!", sub-standard loom!
Actually, I really like this standard minus-minus room. It is recently redone, with atypical Nana layout: Partition as you enter, no wall shelves, but HUGE tiled bathroom, window in dining room with view of Sukhumvit. All for 1170 baht, with breakfast.
Those who have the Nana in their (polluted) blood (like me), will know what I'm talking about...
Anyway, here for 2 more days, bpai teeow 1 week, back to more permanent (i.e., cheaper) digs on the 26th.
Hope to see some of you thereafter...
"The Great"...kind of has a ring to it, eh?

I stayed in a Deluxe room, and have pics of it. PM me and I'll email them to you. Huge Bed, stereo, couch, large fridge with free bottles of water, table and 2 chairs.

Just tried to book the Nana 9th to 13th March through link on this site came back that hotel full! Isnt this meant to be low season? Is somthing going on that I am unaware of?

Well, yeah... It's the fricken Nana Hotel! The hotel is a legend. What do you expect trying to book a room in a legendary hotel less than a month away?

Are you talking about the Napoleon on Soi 33? If so, it’s a nice enough bar, but I’d give the rooms as pass.
If you’re a newbie, do what you can to stay at the Nana. If that’s not possible, try Dynasty or Landmark. But the Soi 4 area is where you want to be.

Pleasantly surprised to see u back in action, Oh Great One. Yes, my red fluid is polluted too. But I know that the 3rd floor atypical Nana rooms u talk about have existed for at least 2 years -- they are not that recent. I loved that room that u describe with a nice window view of Hog's Breath and bathroom large enough to have an orgy in. Must you so tempt me to make another visit ?

Just for fun I tried booking a room at Grand President - end of this month. The entire month is fully booked out apart for 3 days. They had email request rooms for 9 10 & 11. Otherwise fully booked. What's up with that? Ditto March - entire month - not one room available.
