the key word here being FORMER co-workers, I don't have contact with them any longer, and I noticed the majority who stayed there were female, so not sure about it's girl-friendly bit

the info I have is the following: NO ELEVATOR, Less expensive rooms on top because of this, not sure girls will be happy climbing 6 flights,they do have in room safes, Internet, security, cable etc..My frined said they start booking 3 months ahead of time, but when I tried,they claim they book 1-2 weeks ahead of time. My emails back and forth were a little rough do to so so English. I was set to stay there this summer but think I will be passing, seems like ok place though

Newbies,, NEVER EVER mention stairs when negotiating with BG's,, if 6 flights of stairs are mentioned you may as well double what you think is a reasonable price.

Yes, I think you are right about the stairs, lol, I never use elevators at hotels and sometimes I get a funny look. I'd rather walk up a flight or two, but anything higher than the 3rd floor must be a pass

I just booked a room for 4 nights in mid-May. They responded promptly to my booking request and confirmed the reservation. I requested a room on a lower floor. I'll see how it is and share the experience here. If it doesn't work out I'll move. The web photos look good and I've seen the hotel from Sukhumvit and the location is great yet it looks over the small park. Promising but we'll see.

Just stayed 4 nites there over the weekend. Nice & clean simple room with a king size bed. No food is serve here!
The stair case doesn't bother me, but not a good idea if you are drunk and have to climb up n down at nite.
For 1,400 baht/nite it is well worth the money consider the location.
