Hi,
Can anyone recommend an Hotel in the Sukhumvit area that provides a pool and a fitness room for less than 2000THB/night ?
I used to go to the Grand President for 1600THB/night but its rates have increased dramatically in the last 2 years.

2000 baht per night? About 4 years ago I was staying near the Westin, and they agreed to let me use their fitness room and pool for 3000 baht per month. I just went straight up to the fitness center and asked them.
I am sure it is more expensive now at the Westin, but even at 6000 baht per month it sounds like a bargin. Their facilities are not as extensive as some, but it is adequate for most people.

I think he refers to a hotel room and access to a gym and pool for 2,000 baht per night.

My mistake. But my advice may still be useful. Just stay were you want (without a gym/pool) and pay for that service elsewhere.

Sometimes it is that simple, especially when staying at the Grotinno and using the Westin gym/pool. Even if you are staying elsewhere, the Westin is about 25 feet from the BTS Asoke escalator.

Latrell: you can find some of the 'Presidents' for less than 2k. The President Park is attached to the Capitol Club and has a couple pools and a nice outdoor area. It's a bit away from Suk though. La Fenix has a good gym but a tiny pool. Omni has a great pool and I haven't seen the gym. Check out 'hotels combined' for best prices. WJ

A long-term (30 Day) studio suite at the Adelphi would meet the specification. Just off Sukhumvit on Soi 8...

All,
I forgot to mention I was looking at a stay of less than 1 week.
I don't think the President and Adelphi can go below 2k THB / night for a short period.
So the best option for that price level seems to be the Ambassador in soi 11...
