I just stayed for 1 week at the Citadines Soi8.
I paid around 1800 THB/day (incl 5/7% tax, promotion rate). I found it a great value since the facilities include a fitness room and a small pool.
However, the cleaning is weekly and the extra cleaning is charged around 100 THB.
Sukumvit Soi 8 is a more tranquil location, for instance in comparison with soi 11 where I used to stay.
Small inconvenience is the walking distance to Sukumvit but the Citadines Tuk-Tuk service can carry you both ways (even a 4 am coming from Sukumvit road/Nana, provided you call the reception!).
Citadines is girl friendly but this is not a typical sex tourist venue like the Grand President for instance, so stay discreet...

holy shit !!!!! looks like wheels up 2 times in Feb..... long story, but in order to keep my diamond card on EVA I need 2 trips about that distance before the end of the month. I Am scrambling to finish all my business here this week as early next week I may be on the plane.....

Oh I forgot: stayed at Citadine Soi 11 recently for a couple of days, errr nights, and it is now my preferred BK hotel. Can't beat that location! The small pool and gym are ready now. Booking online on their website you can still have the special rate of 1850 all-incl. for the studio. Even had a promotion for free breaky on my discount rate in Jan. Didn't use it though 
Good news: they stopped that stupid once-a-week-cleaning policy and do normal daily cleaning now.
Hotels are a buyers market in BKK nowadays...

I stayed at Citadines soi 11 in November. I actually checked in the day they opened (no restaurant, no pool yet at the time).
Loved the location. Rooms are identical to other Citadines.
Glad to hear they stopped that stupid daily cleaning policy. First time I booked one night and next day extended another night and so on. By doing so got them to make the room without extra charge. After 3 days I got tired and simply extended. Staff at the reception got the point and agreed with me, but had to follow the rules.

BK, Temples is a nice enough hotel bar and restaurant with a good Soi 11 terrace and always some hotel clientel, but it's not much to write home... errr in the forum about...
The already opened rest. and bar of the still not yet opened new President Palace Hotel a couple of steps towards the mouth of S11 seems to be more of a Gullivers like venue... without the FLs I guess though...
