My experience at Windsor Suites was mixed (I stayed 4 nights Dec. 2001). Sometimes, they would check ID and on one night, I had difficulty getting pass security or they need extra $ (I had booked a twin room). Anyway, worst part is free breakfast - always full and need to wait! Too many tour groups there. I do not recommend this hotel even though location is OK. Alternative is Bangkok Palace - breakfast is very good and guest friendly as far as I can tell (location not as good).

You have a point there. Now that I remember it, my girl wouldn't leave the room.....but I didn't have any trouble. 
I'll still go there. I like their breakfast...I eat all the bacon and french toast.

Novatel Siam Square is not guest friendly at all,I have to pay $3000 baht for 3 gals imagine the gals cost me $3000 bahts each,most expensive screw of my life.after the first night i didn`t een want to go to the hassle of being stopped again so I wen`t for Short time only

If you had registered it as a twin, and brought in only one girl, it would have been fine. When you are booking your rooms via a travel agent, make sure you get the twin room, or else they will charge the joiner fee.

I stayed in Hotel Amari Boulevard for 5 days last week. It is conveniently located for Nana, Beergarden Soi7 etc.
70 $ including twin Bed. As I booked for two I had no problems bringing a lady in every night, but got checked every time against a hotel list. With booking for 2, no problem. By the way, there is a terrific band playing at Huntsman Pub in the cellar of Landmark Hotel. I took a girl there for dinner and dance, great place! The band did "Killer Queen" with all the complicated vocals so you with believe ir was Freddy Mercury and the rest of Queen.
