Regarding the distance from Soi Nana to Soi Asoke, here's my stats (at risk of sounding like Smeg  here) :
The distance on my map of BKK between these two points is approximately 7.5 cm.  Now, before you put on your Lilliputan shoes, consider this:
At a scale of 1:15,000, this works out to about 1.125 km, or 1 1/8 km.
In miles (why don't we just go metric in the USA  and get it over with??? Whoever heard of dividing by 5280, 12, etc... no wonder everyone is flunking science here  ) that's around 0.7 miles.
You mileage may vary, give or take a few paces, with the pleasant distractions  along the way.

It's only a buck (35 baht) door to door. In an AC taxi. What's the prob? No vendors to bother you, No streets to cross and get bashed, no slow walkers ( I hate slow walkers) and if you walk somebody may just barfine the TG you could of had. You are on vacation aren't you.

Thanks for the info. I was looking for hotel info closer to Soi Cowboy because I want a new place to stay.
Distance between Nana and Soi Cowboy is not a problem, I have walked that street many time, usually to take in the 'sites', especially after 2am.
I'd give a taxi a miss unless really needed, as the traffic makes it slower.
Anyhow, I am booked for the Honey hotel. 22 days and counting!
