Iagree 100%, next time in LOS I will start a dialogue from day 1 and make it clear what is expected for tip. I was just saying an ongoing daily tipping of small amounts doesn’t really seem to accomplish much. Far better to give one off big tip – seems to make them happier.
Ahhhhhh, Pattaya……..So much to do and so little time I had. Pattaya will always be on my “must stay list” from now on. While I like bkk, Pattaya has a charm all to its own.
My next trip in August, I will be staying at more budget hotels so I can squeeze more trips in a year (Aug and Oct/Nov is the current plan). First trip I went overboard a bit and the old CC cringed
