Update On Grand Business Inn.
I'm staying here now in a double premier room for 1200 Baht net ( no breakfast )
Top location, right at the corner on soi 11. Money exchange across the road. Twenty paces to the BST. & a 7-11 next door and onsite 24hr cafe.
Rooms are fine. King size bed. Minibar with 1 free 750ml water and 5 300ml water at 15 Baht each. Thats it, so go shopping at the 7 -11 for your goodies.
No in rooms safe but free safe boxes at reception.
15 station cable tv with cnn espn bbc world discovery etc.
Gest friendly, Just register the guest when you collect your key and they keep the id. When your gest leaves they call the room to check if everything is OK.
My takeaway from Edens thought it was good value, and would recommend it to her friends. Normally I try for the Majestic Suites but its always hard to get a room at short notice.

Hi all,
I stayed there at the same rate as the above poster (1,200 baht per night) and boy it was good value.
Like the bove poster said they will ask for the girls id but for me that means its just safer.
There is also a drop dead gorgeous model-type receptionist at the counter  If only I could have barfined her :-D
Great location at corner of soi 11 and sukhumvit. Rooms are nice and clean but as poster above mentioned they only have deposit boxes at reception, and almost looks like a bank when they take it out...
Staff were damn friendly, and they let me keep my luggage and safety deposit box there until I had to check out late sunday night.
i think because it is so damn new its still good, but give it 2-3 years and it may become rundown. But right now I think its the best value for money in Sukhumvit.

I kid you not she was the best looking girl I saw in LOS in my ENTIRE time there, and I did Patpong, Soi Cowboy, Edens AND lolitas.
I saw her with some ultra trendy looking farang type dude when she wasnt working at reception but might or might not have been her boyfriend

I just booked for five nights in April. They have extended thier Special Promotion rates through end of April, so got a Double Premier (?) for THB 1,200. I'll give a report on the rooms once I get there.

Stayed the last few days in GBI, 1st night in double room, rest in suite. Great hotel, new, altho I was surprised the floors already looking a bit dingy, like they used used-carpets and tiles...??? Excellent location, great staff... someone already mentioned the drop-dead gorgeous receptionist... gosh her subtle smiles and those legs!!! OK coffeeshop for those late breakfasts and early cocktails. The girls I stayed with in there compared the rooms size-wise and quality-wise to Taipan, Westin, even Landmark... room rates after promotion: double: 1500, suite: 2000, premier suite: 2500 (IIRC).

Given the after promotion room rates, what room would your preference be??? Is the suite worth the extra 500 baht???
Also, did you book via email or just show up?? Curious what their reservation requirements are....??
