Thanks for the update. Nice to hear a positive review of a stay there. I presume the place is GF? Can you also advise just how many floors there are i.e. what's the number of stairs one may have to climb? Also, did you use the wireless internet and did it work OK? I'd be grateful if you could answer those questions and share any other advice you think is useful as a result of your stay. Thanks.

I have stayed here quite a few times. The lower floors are non smoking rooms, the higher ones for smokers. The back rooms are 1200baht, and the front overlooking the park are 1400. The bathrooms are small and the bedrooms are simple, with simple furniture. I was quite content staying there, until last week when after confirming a non smoking booking, they allocated me a very smelly room on the 6th floor. They blamed the mistake on a new member of staff, but I was a bit put out trying to find an alternative hotel when many (like them) were fully booked.

The hotel should be GF, as I have seen a TG came on a taxi and a farang walked her up to the room.
There should be total of 6 floors. The stair case space is rather small, but not many steps to climb up 3rd or 4th floor. Didn't have the chance to try out their wifi, but they do have 2 pc at the entrance whereby you could rent for a small fee.
If you are looking for just a place to sleep/shower with a decent price, this place is worth it. If I want a little more luxury with a bigger room, then I would go for nearby service apartments.

Size doesn’t really matter all that much does it? At least that is what I keep telling myself - and the ladies.
Sure there are places that are bigger, but if it is a better value or not really depends upon the individual and what they are looking for in a place to bang some birds.

Why stay here or Nana? 300 BAHT more will see you in 4 star comfort at the Grand Mercure Park Avenue or take the treny option of Le Fenix on Sukumvit.

Mel,Thai Hotel Discounts(Tim) quotes B2453 as the starting price for the Grande Mercure,and Asia Rooms B2332 for a standard room at Le Fenix.This thread says rooms at Cozy go for B1200 to B1400.From what source can you get rooms at Grande Mercure and Le Fenix for B1500 to B1700?

I am sure those rates (quoted by Mel) are related to the accor advantage club rates – costs about 4000 baht, which includes a free night, special rates on all Accor hotels in Asia and Australia, as well as discounts on food. I get one about every other year, but I live in Thailand so it is worth it to me because of the food discounts I can get. I also travel around Asia and in general the location of most of the Accor hotels don’t fit my needs so I rarely use the hotel price perks. I stay at two Accor hotels on a sami-regular basis, one in Australia and one in South Korea. I get a better corporate rate at both hotels than I can get with the advantage card.
As for the La Fenix, and the Mecure, if I did not live here I probably would not use either of those hotels – for my needs the location is not very good. Not to say that their locations are bad, because for some they would be good, but for me they are not.
The value found at each hotel will vary based upon the needs of the punter.

Accor`s web site accorhotels.com.au quotes a lowest price for a double at Grande Mercure of B2483 probably with breakfast.Accor`s lowest price for a double at Le Fenix is B2013 without breakfast and B2366 with breakfast.These prices are available to anyone booking through the internet and,accordingly,seem to be the rates most directly comparable with Cozy`s rates of from B1200-1400.
