there are studios at trendy go for about 30K per month incl power, cable, amenities, maid service, swimming pool.
(min. stay of 1 month).
suk suites cheaper but not as new and swimming pool no comparison.

i don't know the name of the bldg, but it is located on soi 13 just north of sukhumvit. the condo is one of many managed by perfect places and is owned by a doctor who works at bumrungrad.
i get claustrophobic after spending 4 weeks in a landmark small suite and am looking forward to the extra living space.
the landmark is unhappy because I am "leaving the family"! two weeks into my trip last dec., I had stayed at the landmark for 100 days. they offered a further discount for this dec., but I still want to try the condo.
2 1/2 months to go until lift-off.....................

12 days to lift off if all goes well. This may well be my last trip for a long, long while. I have mentioned this before, but I am at the point of trying out the DR and South America. Life is to short to get wound into one place. A childhood friend of mine now live sin the DR and sells real estate there, so I have a local now to start me off. To add to the issue, when I am in New York I am always attrated to DR girls, had a few there before, they make me crazy and are great in the sack.

I am also a Landmark small suite regular for short stays only and get a very good rate off Marc. I retire next year and had always assumed the Landmark would be far too expensive for my retirement budget judging by the long stay deals on their website and I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me an idea as to how much you paid for a small suite for 100 days.

i paid usd $2,599.00 for 4 weeks. this is about usd $1,000/00 less than the landmark for the same period. I retired last year, and while I appreciate the lesser cost of a condo, I am really looking forwards to the increase in living space.
as I mentioned before, living for 4+ weeks in a landmark mini-suite gets very claustrophobic.
i know there are cheaper full service condos & apartments, but this one looks comfortable, private, and close to sukhumvit, nana bts station and most of the places I hangout. I am still only a 5 minute walk to the landmark incase I want khao thom for breakfast at the greenhouse.
i'll post an evaluation this dec. after my 1st week.

I have jusy got back from yet another stay in the Landmark and have only now read your very helpful post. I have been paying about the same as you which I will not be able to afford in retirement and look forward to reading your evaluation of the condo in December

i hope you had a great time in bkk! is nipa thai open yet?
i'll post re: the condo towards the end of dec. after retirement, you might look at apartments in the area around the ari bts station. the area is only around 10 minutes from nana and is much cleaner than sukhumvit.
riceman lived there for 3 months with his tgf and told me it was very cheap.

I know that the hotel is expensive but you can’t beat the location.
Stayed there a few months ago on the clubfloor and I have to agree the lounge with the free food and drinks is very nice.
Normally I book a normal room and ask nice for a possible upgrade. 
I booked again for February ( together with a friend for a few days fun  ) and both rooms are upgraded to corner suites. ( I pay 5100 Baht Nett with breakfast and the other small things )
