Have stayed there a few of times and really rank their breakfast and gym very highly. Have stayed in both regular and deluxe rooms as well as the Jr Suite. All good, except the regular room with the twin bed is very boring... a shoe box.
I like the location the best, a heartbeat away from Nana (most times could see the action below from my large window), eden, annies, and a BTS stop away from Soi Cowboy, Darlings, etc. Only one time was I stopped at the elevators for bringing a BG in, and was charged a joiner fee (they said I didn't have a double booking). Spoilt the mood somehow, but avoided the problem thereafter by getting in before the elevator staff took their posts (around 11 pm). However, has left me with a mixed impression about the GF friendly ranking of the hotel. Anyone else have a similar experience?
Thinking of staying there again next month. Hope things have changed for the better!

I am surprised they charge joiner fee, I stayed at grand hyatt, had no problems and never booked double. At landmark are they expecting u to book double, if this is the case I might not stay here next time. Maybe I will stick with grand hyatt after all 100% girl friendly.

Spent a night here last week and was unimpressed. I had a corner room which was quite nice, the gym was nice, but the service was equivalent to a 2* hotel. When I pulled up, the doorman started talking to the taxi driver, didn't open the door, the check in clerk told me my credit card wasn't valid, I told him to run it again. After 10 minutes, he didn't say anything, I stood there another 10 minutes and he looked over and said everything was OK, I could go to my room. Very few people besides the door greeter smiled at all.
Nice location, but too pricey for lousy service.

Normally even guest friendly hotels require a twin/double to be 100 % safe. Some will allow a single, with 1 ABF. If the price between single and twin is different I can understand, but The Landmark the prices are the same, better to book a double roomfor 2 persons.

I should have booked double, in hindsight. However, once when I tried they said it would require my partner to check in at the same time. I don't know if that was bs, it probably was, but I didn't push further.
I've stayed at the Landmark at least 3 times and never had a problem, other than that one time. I didn't want to create a scene, and thought the 1k joiner fee was not worth spoiling the mood over (was eager to get my BG to bed!).
Will try to book double this time. Just wanted to know if anyone else ever had a similar exprience there, as that would mean the hotel isn't 100% GF, as posted here, but has a discretionary policy.

Your experienced was similar to one I had several years back at Windsor Suites and it was the end of my string of stays. Since then I have been staying at Grand president. They occassionally piss me off with room problems but never mess with guests at least so far. No additional fee and I alway pay single rate. Last visit early May, next time in June. Have been staying at GP about 5 years, 6-10 times per year. Not perfect, but no joiner fees in my experience.

Landmark stayed 12 times never had problems
Infact Too girl friendly in that they dont take ID
Its an upmarket place so they entrust guest to be wise enough

You have to book the double, like tim said. Perhaps a technicality, but if you didn't do it you take your chances.

Just came back from a fun 10 days in bangkok and tried the Landmark. Totally girl friendly but they do take IDs. Great location but only annoying thing was that it can be rather noisy if u sleep by 1.00 am u can hear all the loud music even from a high floor or early in the morning around 8.00 am on wards u can hear some construction noise nearby but apart from that nice place. I never booked double and not charged a joiner fee. I can highly recommend.

Spent the first three days of my trip at LM walked in at 09:00hrs as Nana did not have my booking? "Only have suite sir" yeah sure, I took it and it was really nice although a bit too much room and price but I liked it. And it's Thai expensive not europe expensive BIG difference.
Girl friendly got stopped by guy at lift asked for room number took girls ID very polite no problem and the desk called me in the morning "everything ok sir" before she left.
I agree with DeepThaid location A1 as NEP my favorite but now Dr. Love has shown me soi 33 I am widening my hunting area.
