AHHH... a long time 'pet hate" of mine..... I truly believe all,,,ALL prices in LOS should ONLY ever be quoted in Thai Baht.

Yeah, I guess they dont make much sence now that I've taken a closer look. I wonder what this site is all about? The misinformation is a good sign that they don't know what they are doing. But 110 THB for a single Superior would be a stellar deal!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys. I am going back to BKK from Oct 7th to Nov 4th. Is Majestic still guest friendly? I need to find a good hotel that is cheap and guest friendly. I like the Nana area that Majestic is in. I also plan to go to Pattaya for the first time this year. What are good hotels that are cheap and guest friendly?

I just got back from BKK and stayed at Majestic Suites.
Yes they are guest friendly, take as many as you want.
My suggestion is to go to the Dynasty Inn just down Soi 4 from NEP and pay for a room at Dynasty Inn in Pattaya. That way you get free transportation from Dynasty in Bangkok (leaves at 11:00 a.m. daily) to Dynasty in Pattaya. You just have to stay 2 days but it's nice enough for about 1200 baht a day. It's also guest friendly and conviently located on Soi 13 near Second Rd.

Yes when I stayed there the chit chat was neat with the staff
The staff are great there is absolutely no problem, the girls are treated as though they were guests except they hand in their ID. Even a couple of the girls I took back said nice hotel nice staff
Great hotel with good memories.

I have norally stayed at the Starr Inn (next door to the Eden Club) on 7/1. I decided to try something different this time and go to the Majestic Suites. Since I haven't stayed there before - what is everyone's opinion abou t the place using Starr Inn as a point of comparison?
The main reason I chose not to go to the Starr Inn is because I lost their email address and I have not been able to get on their website for about 9 months to drop them an email. Still Starr is a good place. If I get there and I do not like the rooms at the Majestic, I can always move a few blocks down the road to the Starr Inn assuming they are not full.

Yes, the "walk of shame" in any BKK hotel is uncomfortable but it should not be. Everyone is a grown adult. If they did not approve they would not allow it. If the workers at the desk were offended, they would not work there.
And frankly, if they did not take the ID's from the girls (and photocopy them), I would not take a girl into my room. I am one of the few farangs who can honestly say that I have never had a girl steal something from my room while she was there - never. But if one ever does, I know the desk has a copy of her ID after she leaves. of course this is another good reason to stay away from the freelancers. A club always knows the girls who works for them.
