LOL.... Well, at least you're not that dumb as one hopping member who posted his room number and his hotel. 
BTW It seems like spending a little too much money... ask the hotel to store your luggage so you don't have to pay for 3-4 nights. It's handy though to keep your room.... but storing it saves you at least 4,800 baht.
You can do a lot of things in Pattaya for that.

I posted a review about this hotel, but I want to give a little feedback about Tim's services as well.
He has understood the concept of happy customers = repeat customers = more customers.
- good prices
- very fast booking
- fast personal follow up of questions, I asked for a early checkin. He got me that for free, no problems.
- 10 minutes after I checked in, the hotel phone rang. It was Tim asking me if everything was OK. It was.

I would not go for Regency Park at all. I think its a dump. Terrible rooms, old and shitty service from their staff. Not guest friendly and by their rates its not cheap. Surprized anyone would want to pay 1900 Baht( In December) or so for such a place.
There are much nicer newer places to stay. Given your budget and requirements an suggest the following.
Citi Chic, has a small rooftop swimming pool.( Has free internet as well) Guest friendly.
Darjelling Hotel, has a very small pool. Not perfect, but nice cosy rooms.( Has free internet as well) Guest friendly
Le Fenix, nice place. Location lets it down for me. So deep in the Soi. Has a pool and internet is chargeable. They may change the guest friendly policy of this hotel in the future. Inline with their Asian policy in other countries.

checked in Tues night, everything anyone could wish for in a hotel. Soft bed, very quiet and most importantly I am allowed to swim at night with my companion.
