Sofitel Grand Sukhumvit is not guest friendly. Nice indeed, howver small rooms and 1000 Baht joiners.

Had high expectations re the Sofitel Suk Grande. Location is unbeatable, the rest not.
Pool is in different tower than the suites. It sucks to go 20 floors down walk through the entire lobby and up again. Windows cannot be opened and the rooms are very dark (only window in sleeping area, not living area. That in the platinum suite does not make too much sense. All Ascott residences and Unico Sathorn (and of course Conrad apartments looked better....
