I have. I did a field-trip/B-day party LT there a couple of months back. Booked their jacuzzi suite for the affair. Turned out to be THE lamest charity f*** of all time....but I digress... I'm a little on the fence as per what value this place represents. The facilty itself is pretty cool, and the rooms are well done and well appointed. Austion Powers would feel right at home shagging birds there- the place has a very trendy cutting-edge lifestyle vibe going on. Breakfast, while not bad, is nothing great. However, in many respects the location is very poor and easily one of the worst features. After I had checked out and was making my way out past the empty front parking lot, continuing on to the nearby MRT subway station, I thought to myself, if you had your own car this place would suit you well at the price offered, but as it is the location simply sucks. Forget about finding any motocy's for hire near by, and in hailing a taxi it might well take you 10-15 minutes at the least to get one in the left most that may notice you in time to stop. Second worst feature is the lack of any type of convenience store, food cart, or other vendors within walking distance. Third worst feature is access- the parking lot fronts the road at a very, very awkward location. So awkward in fact that unless your taxi driver knows the place I can all but assure you he will overrun the entrance, if not miss it entirely by getting caught in the inside lane which becomes a fly-under almost directly in front of the parking lot, and spits you out on the opposite end of a busy intersection far further ahead. I'm almost certain the hotel is owned by the much larger hotel down the street [Chaopraya Park, was it?] and the two share a shuttle bus to allow use of the larger siblings pool, fitness center etc. The walk to the BTS is not long, but there didn't seem to be a single retail outlet or restaurant that could offer a traveler sustenance between these two points. And the opposite side of Ratchadapisek is very bit as bare but might as well be a world away due to the fly-under being where it is. Hotel staff in the restaurant gave out the impression they weren't too used to customers either. But, as I said originally, the rooms are pretty groovy and fun in a quirky way. Free in-room Internet is included. So therefore, this is how I think this hotel could be best summed up- if you're a resident or an oldhand in Bangers and location or minor hassles of accessing a facility don't trouble you consider booking it. If, on the other hand, you're a newbie looking to maximize your time and adventures go here only as a last resort to satisfy your grooviliscious room itchiness.

I was wondering about internet – not even discussed on any of the web pages I took a look at. So Skip – was the in-room internet wire or wireless?
