I needed a room within short notice, remenbered their website, checked the available rates and booked their spontaneously. On arrival, apart from a good central location (MRT, Skytrain, Soi Cowboy), I was disappointed when you get up to the floors and into the rooms. This place has seen better days. Nothing to complain about regarding hard facts as cleanliness or other basics, but standard rooms are small, design is substandard, so is breakfast. It is ok, if you need the average hotel, but it is not the room where you really enjoy staying in. On the other hand: took two girls from Tilac one night. They did not bother extending ST into LT without extra fees. Everybody has different views, I guess. But the website is deffinately exagerating in terms of the impression you get from there.

Just goes to show how two different people can see the same thing do differently but I think the FX Asoke is a great hotel for the price. I think the rooms are very spacious. The decor is clean and modern. The breakfast is not great but is OK and is free. Plus the location is perfect.

had no problem with that. four guests in three nights provides enough evidence to make a statement.
