I travel in November the first time to Bangkok. Did anybody knows the hotel "The Dawin" near Nana plaza and it is girl-friendly?

The Darwin is a long walk up Soi 4 to Nana, in fact it is closer to Lolita's (Soi 8) when you take the shortcut on the back Sois.... as for GF I can not comment cuz I would not be caught dead in the Darwin  ...

Exactly - it's not that far. Same owner as the Dynasty and the Grande Dynasty on Soi 6. New and looks ok. Talking with the owner the other day and he tells me the Grande Dynasty is going for 1800 THB per night. Very good value IMHO.

Not so much the distance but the chances of getting run down. Soi 4 carries heavy traffic and bad drivers.
There are better places at better prices which are more convenient to not just Nana but all the other venues in Sukhumvit.... but each cat to his own ashcan...
