Has anyone stayed in the Pathumwan Princess hotel located next to MBK? Is it girl friendly. Did a search but could not find anything on it.

Make the search again mate cos there is some info on this hotel. Close to MBK and Siam square and even you can be able to see local chicks doing shopping all the time at MBK. However, I was a sad witness when the farangs, after long discussions, had to pay the "guest" fee to let the TGs go upstairs for some sanook despite the double acommdoation stuff....I saw it several times. Sad.

The trick is to book in and say that you are with your wife, and of course, she has gone shopping, and she will only join you later in the night.  I did that once when I didn't want to go back to my apartment.

In my opinion, this hotel is more for family as shopping area is just below(MBK), you can then leave your wife to go shopping while you explore other 'places of interest'. Its also not close to any night places other than th disco in the basement of Novotel Siam Sq. Its certainly not guest friendly as well.

The funny thing is that my former Boss did the same once. The creepy staff at the Pathumwan Princess requested him the passport of the wife and he didn't have it at that moment. He had to wait for his wife to arrive an hour later to check-in. Shit!!!!
