Stayed in Drop Inn Soi 20 last nite. Modern & GF (in-room safe) @ THB1400 but I prefer the Nana side of Asoke Rd.

Perhaps, caronte can provide some more info.

I stayed in the Drop Inn for a week back in April/May 2004 and paid TB1100/night. The room was on the fifth floor, very clean but small and the water in the shower (no bath) was a bit underpowered for my liking. There was no hot water in the sink (one tap, cold water) and there was a tiny balcony and a pretty good AC.

The TV had cable but no Thai subtitles on English language movies, bit of a bummer for the BG! The hotel is BG friendly and there was a restaurant but I never ate there. There's a lift to the floors and the whole place is minimalist in it's decor.

It's an Italian place with a small area to sit outside with a beer. I quite liked Drop Inn but not enough to go back.
