I have been there several times and find myself constantly apologizing for bumping into everybody and everybody bumping into me. It is a nice change of pace from the typical Bangkok scene but one that does not appeal to me.
It is hot right now, but RCA is so dead I do not know what this place will look like in a few months. Granted it is a Thai joint, but the Thai bar crowd are more fickle than any other.
I will not be heading to Slim any time soon, as I said, because of the crowd and actually because I found it a little boring.
Just my opinion.

Anyway I see where you are coming from and why you cannot stand the place though mind you most of the ex orbit girls are hanging there on a regular basis as well as the DJ...... (Your buddy)

Checked out Slim on Sunday night with a few Orbit/Cbn/Resort gals.
Amazingly packed for a Sunday. Usual buy-bottle-and-dance-around-the-table routine. Usual hip-hop music, usual crowd.
Some hotties walking around tho they seemed to clear out and get replaced by guys around 1am.
Lots of hip-hop wannabe Thai guys- wonder what they did before the fad came to Thailand?
Overall pretty standard fare... Liked it cuz of the 2am closing and convenient location.

Is Lucifer's open past 2am? I was in Pattaya the week before and it was *the* spot to be, having taken away a lot of business from Marine. It was the usual hip hop scene tho- not the same as their Bangkok branch.
