Pleasant surprise at CM2 last night.
We arrived at 1am after Qbar and the entrance fee had dropped to 220 baht.
3000 baht for a bottle of Kaluha is just criminal though.

went to cm2 monday ladies night.was really dissappointed.not much of an atmosphere.music ok,2 rooms,the hip hop room was quiet.girls are lookers here,but dont really smile much.a few russian ladies too.but only one worth trying.not many white farangs.mainly korean/japanese I think.left at 1am to go to nana disco.better atmosphere and far more smiles.

*In my opinion* it is hardly fair to compare Nana Disco with Cm2. (aside from the fact that the music in both places is horrendous and both the interiors are designed by a blind man with extremely bad taste.)
The average age of the guys in CM2 is below 40. In Nana Disco I have seen enough 60-year old guys in flip flops and shorts to fill a gazillion lifetimes. I don’t want to upgrade the sleazy pick-up joint that CM2 is, but as mentioned in previous reports it seems girls are a *bit* pickier. This can be a good or bad thing. I personally enjoy the hunt more – and so do the girls. For what’s it worth, this has been confirmed by my female companionship on several occasions.
As such, I would like to re-state my New Year’s intentions: “f*** go-go bars. Just Sod’em.”

Due to the current atmosphere, I gave Bed/Q/Mystique a miss last night and we headed over to good ol’ CM2.
(Side note: We had dinner at Ban Khun Mae, right across from Novotel on Siam Square. Too many foreigners inside to my taste, but if you like authentic Thai food that wont burn the hair of your feet, this might be your cup of tea.)
We arrived a bit early (around 2300), but there were already quite a bit of talent inside. That hideous band was doing its dreadful covers in the background, but I have developed some kind of mechanism to block out their ear pollution.
A less then normal uplifting pdbhobs joined our illustrious company for a couple of refreshments, but he made the disastrous decision to hit the road after 45 minutes.
About 10 minutes after he left – it must have been 12.30 – the place was filled-up with the usual catwalk of available sweeties (and Russian monstrosities).
Now, I am known to be a picky man when it comes to women, but at about 1.30AM in the hip hop room, I guarantee you gentlemen that 80% of the females inside were stunners. I am talking 8.5’s and up. (Give of take a couple of percentages due to half a bottle of Kaluha in my system.) One girl looked like the Thai version of Beyonce. Her number is in my phone and her name is on my to-do list.
My friend took home the grand-price of the evening: a 170cm, absolutely entrancing Cambodian angel with a bewitching smile and charisma like Angelina Jolie. The f***er.
If you were there last night, I was the nutter with the curly hair showing why John Travolta is a stickman-pussy on the dance floor of the hip hop room from 1 till closing.
Look for the guys drinking milk. Or the table with the bottle of Kaluha on it.
