I think it is because the dancer bar has lost some of its freshness. You know better than me how fickle the bangkok club crowd is. There is really not many new gclub coming to the market except a new one from carribean owner.

Well, Juniper, you are the expert. I have always thought the prick tease element of these clubs made it a difficult format in the long run (especially in Bangkok). I also think that the Carribean is giving this format a bad name - lets face it, it is too large, too commercial and by Bangkok standards, way too expensive.
It is very noticeable how The Carribean thread is so tiny compared to the Orbit thread. Kind of think it reflects the lack of 'sanook' to report.

I think the market is still there. From my observation, to be a successful at Abrak's "dick tease" game, the girls must be more then just cute. The "dick tease" game requires a enthusiasm, personality, and of course, sexy dance moves. There is a reluctance from the older girls to teach the the younger ones the "dick tease" game to keep their customers with money.
I think there will be a point where the changing of the guard will come and the younger girls will start to figure things out. In the meantime, the older ones will cling on to what they got, retire, or move to Resort and contemplate about past lost sponsorships.

No question the gogo scene is losing business. I think most ppl are moving on to P4P and if they want to go clubbing, the newly revived RCA, around Thonglor, P4P clubs, etc. I always thought of the gogo clubs as a novelty that quickly wore off.
You'll still have your chasers, but really it can't last, at least not at the level that it's been in recent years...

One thing I and my friend always notice is the GClub in bkk is much more straight (more prick tease) than the one in Taiwan, Korea, japan, phillipine, china or macua etc.... Most of the asian club we go to, is full out orgy in the KTV room. The girl will pretty much do anything you want including S. These girl are wild, they will start taking off their cloth and your cloth within 5 minutes of arrival. Granted, most of these girls are on either E or M. And most of them will have them availabe for the customer. I guess the med is how they keep to be so hyper all the time.

Interesting you said that. I just had a email from a carribean girl request for money. The approach is so amateurish similar to what a BG will do. I guess I have to get some veteran Orbit girl teach her more crafty way to extract money from their customer.

THE RESORT:
Staying at Watana, Ratchada Soi 17, makes this member's club at Ratchada Soi 13 most accessible... just 3 mins walk!
Was there on Mon nite, and it was jam-packed. Lotsa luxury cars at the parking lot as well. Must be favourite chiong spot for the rich of Bkk at the current moment.
The ratio of gals to guys is about 2 : 1. (Monday nite I guess)
I strolled into the club... found a good place to plonk my fat-ass amidst of all the bumping-and-grinding. Heard about the 'The Resort' as having more daring gals... it must be true as they are dress more revealingly and more frisky towards the customers. Saw 1 gal lap-dancing in her tight-shorts on this guy at the couch! Another gal placed a shot glass between her cleavage and bikini-top and asked the guy to drink from the glass!!!
Wish I had taken the video of the daring acts, but I only took video of the resident band performing and some sexy gals. Dun want to be thrown out!

Well, got another PM asking about recent update on this club. And also about atmosphere, price and availability of PR.
Just went to Resort about a month ago. Was planned to stop by Resort before heading to Carribean, but got stuck in resort all night instead.
Atmosphere-- Personally I like the atmosphere in Resort, it is smaller than carribean but still big enough to have decent selection of PR and dancers.
Price-- Similiar to other clubs. forgot the details ( I really should look more closely at my bill, LOL)
Availability of PR/Dancer-- This was discussed previouly in other thread. The PR/Dancer in G club is harder to get into the sack as compare to BG. It will require some wooing, dinner, gift etc.. It all depend on your time availability, financial constraint etc... You could barfine the PR/Dancer (usually is 10-15 drinks depend on day of the week) Personally, I have not barfined any PR/Dancer for last couple of years. Usually, I will just get their phone number and called them later if I have time.
