Perhaps I can help shed some light on the 20 BHT notes and the ladies bum from both mine ( a farang) and my wifes ( a moderate Thai) attitude.
Ok, for a farang a paper note is merely a piece of money without meaning other than it represented value toward purchase. To a moderate Thai, as that piece of paper has the King image on it, it then becomes sacred.
A difficult concept for most farang, but a part of our education into Thai thinking.
Ok, now down to if the actions are acceptable,, well no they are not,, the farang is just considered to not be understanding of Thai culture doing that,, the Thai gal accepting that is coinsidered DOUBLE bad because she does know and if any thai inserts that 20 BHT then they are triple bad,,.
All round I think its best that foreigners insert money from their own country so as to not offend. Even better insert money from a country you hate

Was in Ritz (renamed St Moritz BTW) last night and had a blast - except I abused tequila shots and whisky long drinks and almost passed out.
I had to meet 4 friends who seem regular there and upon arrival only one was present, but he had already 4 tables and 10 girls lined up which for most part sticked around the whole evening. Quite a good eye candy, and you can play with them quite a bit. Dunno the extent of the damage, I handed 10K to my friend to help out with the bill and hand out a few tips as I wasn't even able to do that much but he declined. Guess the bill was a couple of times that figure. Quite fun although I'm very slow this morning. Nice show also, will try to go back there when I don't work the next day. Shall also enquire about take away options if not so wasted next time

How is this place currently? I have never been here and was thinking of going soon. I currently have memberships at Carribbean, Forte, Sherbet and Piano and am tired of all four. Was thinking of Ritz or Pent. Any imput would be greatly appreciated from you guys who live in LOS.

This place is okay. I find it quieter than the other places and of course more accessible if you like hanging out in the lower Sukhumvit area. The only drawback is that the LDs are more expensive than the other places - 400 B, and the membership gives you a pitiful 10% discount!! I just blew a big was last week entertaining some friends from out of town.

Ritz's business had slow down quite a bit this past year. The owner have very deep packet, so I think it will stay open for a while unlike its predecessor Onze. Pent is part of the piano group, it have swimming pool, a disco area and a lounge area, Also check out the upstair VIP area. Another place to check out is the Bank which is a newly open G club which is own by an american expat.

Sukhumvit soi 40, it just open couple months ago, Club itself is pretty ordinary however it did peak my interest that an expat was the owner and interested to see how it do.

The Pent is not doing well since January. Its not as fun as last year when I joined.
I visited only one night out of 2 weeks this month and it was very empty for a Wednesday night. The disco was half empty at 12:30.
There are few hot dancers and hostesses these days. A few of the dancers I know are now working part time because they can't make the drink quota.
I've been thinking of joining Forte for a change of scenery. Maybe The Sky is a better option.
The next time I'm in Bkk will be Nov. If anyone wants to checkout the Pent let me know. I'll need help finishing up my bottles.
