I am going to Chiang Mai for a few days in early November...haven't found new and updated information on exactly where to go to find the action...i understand the scene is a lot quieter than BK...but where are the go go bars...clubs, etc.?...is there an area like NEP in Chiang Mai?..any clubs or any action at the hotels?.any info will be appreciated....

Yes there is a BG scene at Chiang Mai, but as you say, it is indeed quieter than Bangkok, Pattaya, Samui and Phuket. Nevertheless, It is Thailand's second city and very pretty too and therefore it attracts lots of Tourists and also caters for the P4P scene too.
Here is a reply that I posted by PM to another member who was going there.
If you can get to Chiang Mai, then I think that you'll be doing yourself a favour. Not so much for the bargirls, you understand, but more because it is such a beautiful place. Regarding the location of the bargirl /gogo scene, such as it is, then look it up on the internet. Type in Bargirls + Chiang Mai or something like that into Google. Sites like Chiang Mai online come up. they are not very detailed as to where the main places are though. Download a good map of Chiang Mai from Thaiways at http://www.thaiwaysmagazine.com/chiang_mai_map/chiang_mai_map.html It will give you a good idea of the orientation of the city. You will see a square water area. That is the moat that surrounds the old city. The new city is the area all around it. Because this beautiful moat looks the same all the way around, with lovely fountains spaced along its length and dual roads either side of it, it is hard to recognise where you are until you begin to spot landmarks that you recognise.
Looking at the map, find the Loi Khro Road to the right of the moat. Quite a bit of that road, the area between it and Si Donchai Road and Khotchasan Road along the moat are bar areas. The same applies on the other side of the moat along that stretch of Mun Muang road. There are only a couple of GoGos, the Spotlight Club and the Cozy Corner. I went to the Spotlight Club once in June and picked up a stunner, aged 24. She was fantastic in bed, wanted to marry me and have my babies! I think it cost 1500 baht LT if I remember right. The next night I had a bargirl from one of the Bars near there. She was also 24, very cute and was only 1000 baht a night, I seem to recall. She was just so good that I kept her for the next 4 days, took her everywhere 24 hours a day. went to the zoo, cinema twice, bowling, etc.
There is no area like NEP. There are some discos in some of the bigger hotels and it wouldn't surprise me if there was some freestyle action available. There is a big University there, so lots of really pretty young girls, but as to whether they're available, I wouldn't know. Other threads have mentioned the massage scene, but I didn't indulge in that.
Whilst there in Chiang Mai, there's lots to see and do, apart from the girls. See the Hill Tribe villages, or at least one. Go to the big temple on the mountain side. If you can, go bamboo rafting about 30 kilometres away. Maybe elephant trekking. The zoo is good, the city is lovely, the night market is great....and the girls are so pretty.

I'll look forward to hearing how you get on. Chiang Mai really is a lovely city. I have a g/f there from an internet dating site and will be back there for the 3rd time in 18 months at the end of the year. If I were to retire to live in Thailand in the next few years, that's where I would want to settle. In my opinion, you could do a lot worse than find a BG or GoGo girl that you like, early on in your stay and keep her for the 3 days, letting her show you the sights. It would be a crying shame to go there and not see the things that I've suggested and it's much more fun with some attractive female company. Personally I rate CM girls as the prettiest and nicest in Thailand. The BGs there are also sweeter and not so hard as their BKK sisters, so a G/F experience is quite possible. I reckon that you'll fall in love with the place

are you sure they are the prettiest ? IMO they are more likely to have a wide dog nose in CM.
i have seen prettier gals in Nong Khai than CM,
they have small neat noses not wide dog noses..
Plus CM has the highest rates of HIV and AIDS in Thailand,
so more chance the girl you go down on is HIV +
why take the risk when you can go some place much safer ?
I always avoid CM gals because of the HIV risk.

I have posted a couple comprehensive treaties on Chiang Mai. look them up. The scene is really all loi kroh since the nightbazaar bars have closed. Foxy lady keeps picking up from what I have seen.

You ain'nt got much choice in a bkk soapie, about 80% + are from the Pak nua region, around CM, CR, and the infamous bahn tok keow area where there is a party if the child is a girl, because she's on the for sale list very soon.
