Not related to p4p, but staying at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin on December 14th is a night to remember. It is their anniversary and they have an all day celebration each year. They have a free cocktail hour, then wonderful free buffet dinner with free flowing drinks, thai show and fireworks display. I was there tonight and it is quite memorable! Plus the resort is 5 star, newly renovated, top notch all the way.

I was there in Dusit Hua Hin, wonderful place..... have a plan to go there again in near future...but I missed the happy hour drinks.

Just fresh from a short stay in Hua Hin. Am surprised nobody here mentioned Soi Bintabaht (opposite the Hilton) which is a lively and noisy nightlife spot, although without gogos. Plenty of pubs with attractive girls beckoning you. Hundreds of massage shops all over town, all of them seemingly plain vanilla, but the few on Soi Bintabaht are the ones punters might like to pay a visit. Saw a few girls, with that unmistakable look about them, hanging around outside their shops but for me this was a straightlaced visit. I am going to get back there sometime with a plan of action.

I hit Cha-Am, south soi 3 I think, the one with the bars down the middle and on either side, rough pickings around 4pm on Sunday the 15th.
I didn't have much time so opted for an oily located in the soi, girls outside made a joke in Thai about me choosing the 'Oil massage' and it looked on.
Unfortunately the lady refused all extra's towards the end of the massage, despite the usual good signals of 'accidentally' stroking balls on the upper leg massage, and running the hand down inside the butt crack. She went on to explain that she had promised buddha and she would get bad luck, she said she's been offered 1 or 2,000 Baht extra for a HJ before but simply could not do it as it would bring bad luck.
She was a 6 at best, so all I wanted was a 3-500 HJ, she may have been angling me for a big number but I didn't get that impression. I left VERY unhappy, I mean, who has a legitimate oil massage where the girls sit outside beckoning you in, on a soi full of bars with whores ?
I also asked for another lady who could offer extras but was told nobody offered.
Despite everything I fully respected the ladies choice, and was polite and what not, but just felt a little conned.
Time was up so did not get another chance this trip to try again.

Maybe it was just a limited validity vow for the duration of Songkran ? As you say, it does seem difficult to believe that all girls could refuse. On the other hand, if the question is asked openly then everyone in the group has to save face by saying "No" even if some of them would love to serve you.
The ones I saw in Hua Hin's Soi BB were dressed to kill but now in the light of what you say..... Oh, the many tricky riddles we guys have to put up with!

Rest assured Kaymanx, the one's you saw around BB in Hua Hin are well known to have varying levels of extras, unfortunately the heavy traffic and my location prevented me from going for a dead cert in Hua Hin and instead I took a risk, believed to be educated, with the bar area in Cha Am, but turned out not too educated at all. Never a dull moment.

Thanks, Meatywsg, for the confirmation. I am now positive I will head to HH another time ! It was mortifying walking past those little bars and massage shops in BB like a simple tourist pretending not to be interested and wasting a great opportunity because of my circumstance. But, I shall return

Anyone have any suggestion for a nice massage(with extras) place with clean private rooms. The two I´ve been to around Soi BB had very little privacy and not so nice showers. Service was good though.

My current working theory is that the TG was feeling "done wrong" by some guy very recently and we represent to her at that time an outlet....anyway it's abysmal treatment and like I said it seems to happen no matter how nice we've been when it occurs,,,leading to the further speculation on my part that the naughty one she's actually mad at was a faring as well....
