You're right! There are also a few days that I'm leaving blank, for random exploration. The surprise factor can sometimes be very nice.
I can't wait for this trip. I live in São Paulo - Brazil, one of the best mongering places ever. I don't expect BKK to be much better, but I am going because it seems to be waaaay different from here.

There is no equivalent to the high-end massage parlor in Pattaya, although they do have a new one I'm going to try out this month. But, in general, there are better restaurants in Bangers, the GoGo girls are better looking, nightclubs are better, shopping is better, and just more things to do, albeit more expensive. Best strategy is to spend some time in both places, they're only a few hours apart, although pattaya is more wild and hardcore, so may be more to your liking. I haven't been to São Paulo, but I've been to Rio. Those Brazilian girls were crazy  the thai women are quite different, more passive, but I'm sure you'll have a good time.
