Yes a toyota dealer has got it but I dont think its cheap in thailand many cars are expensive there.

Cars in general are not cheap here.
However Toyota Altis is made here in vast numbers and is aimed fairly and squarely at the budget minded family motorist. OK the Soluna is cheaper but the Corolla (now Altis) has enjoyed a place in Thai motoring for the last 20+ years unrivalled by Honda or Nissan.
There is a reason why taxi drivers choose Toyota, cheap parts and a good dealer network and a multitude of local mechanics who can fix them.
If you find cheaper genuine parts than the main dealer let us know. The oil change places will give you a good price on filters and they may work as well.
I busted a Corolla wheel the other night, a steel one, when I had a blow out just before hitting a pothole. A second hand one from the local tyre place with fitting of the tyre and "balancing" came to 300 Baht.
